Who even does that? and why? who's gonna track down a foley artist from the credits of a show for a random sound? just check out the sonic realms podcast if you like audiodramas and role playing games; there's nothing else like it. A sound effect i've had sitting around for a while - i think i made it by growling and roaring into a mike and deepening the pitch. This was recorded in my kitchen next to a railway, late at night when there was maintenance going on on the line. A heavy unit called a tamper went past, tamping down the ballast (stones) that go under the tracks. Lots of sub-bass as the whole building gets vibrated and at -04:29 a balanced teapot lid puts itself onto the teapot. Zoom h4n, 24/48 wav exported to flac in audacity.
